We are in Florida, I know the score needed to qualify for states is an AA of 32 or higher. I have always wondered if it matters where that score was achieved? Does the qualifying score have to happen at a meet in Florida, or in a Region 8 state or can it happen at any sanctioned meet?

No worries... that stuff is hard to find.
Not that this matters to you, but for others who may come read this post... we did find the link to Florida Rules and Policies on this page:

Here is the rules and policies:

Where it says: "Athletes at level 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10 & XCEL, in addition to Florida USA GYM qualifiers, may also usescores from out of state USA Gym competitions to qualify to the State meets"
It also states earlier on this page that "Athletes at level 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 must compete in Florida qualifiers to qualify to the Florida Statemeets"

So the list of qualifiers you posted is correct for levels 1-5 but it seems that all other levels can qualify at any sanctioned meet.

Thanks for the clarification... that's why I posted the link... I honestly didn't read it past the top line. Now for my state... I've read the full state R&P about 100x over.
