Parents question about gymnastics camp

I want to curious if anyone of your child attend High performance gymnastics camp? Which can suggest? Pro? Neg? If can share experience. Thanks.

Are these typically an invite only thing based on scores at Regionals? I think that's how Region 6 does it.

There are a lot of camps called high performance camps. Some are hosted by the region, some are hosted by colleges, and some are hosted by national organizations. I tend to lean toward these are more marketing names than what it implies. The college ones can be invite only and are very beneficial if you are looking at potentially going there. Other than that, pros and cons are just like any other camp.
