Looks like they increased the JE scores to qualify again too.

Hmmm. Interesting. I guess they want the JE guys to do very well on their optional routines. But the rumor I heard about an automatic qualification score was wrong. Just straight up allotment (and then a further barrier for JE).

I still kinda wish they would separate out JO/JE with the allotment, and maybe even do the allotment by age level. If they are going to divide it by age (11,12) at nationals, I think they should do it for qualifying too.....

I have what is probably a dumb question....Say a boy is 13 or older and competing level 8. Does this mean regionals are as far as he can go no matter how well he scores at regionals?

Yes. Same thing for 15+ year old L9s.
