Hello everybody, I'm a teenager who just started gymnastics and I'm having lots of trouble getting my block. I can do a very small one on roundoffs, but I'm not even close to getting enough height for my vault. I was wondering if anyone has exercises, tips, or tricks that could help me get my block. Thank you!
 
Handstands, but also everything surrounding the block. To me, block isn't something you *do,* it's something that *happens* when you do the rest of the skill correctly.

If your shoulder position is extended, your core is tight, and you come in at the correct angle and speed, block will happen. If it doesn't, one of those entry elements was probably lacking.
