Parents Season 2023-2024: How is your gymnast doing?

4 meets down (and insanely front stacked season) 4 to go, plus States/Regionals. It’s going surprisingly well so far, with some all time high scores, and improvements in scores that were lower in the first meets,

It’s a ton of local meets. Two big-ish in state ones, one optional out of state one, one midsized, 3 smaller local meets, and a mock meet.

Just wanted to do an update for all of the parents on the current season. How is your child doing?

• Have they started competing yet?
• What is their best event?
• Any problems or injuries?
• If they haven't started competing yet... how is preseason coming along?

My gymnast finished level 3 and so far so good! She started out worst on beam and ended up doing her best on beam. Was district champion and then placed 2nd at south state here in Texas. No injuries thankfully!
