What shorts are allowed? I only have Nike pros are these allowed?

Your gym can make a decision if they are allowed. By USAG's rules, they are allowed, however, they must be the same color of the leotard or black and can not have visble logos

I believe Nike Pro's have visible logos...

Black sharpie (several layers with dry time in between) might make the logos more subtle

My dd uses the 3" under armour shorts and the only logo is a small one. The waistband does not have a logo like the nike pro.

Girls who wear Nike Pros to competition here generally fold the waistband under so the big logo on it isn’t visible.

Lol, I was going to suggest that, but I haven't actually seen anyone do it.

GymGear has very nice black gymnastics shorts. They do have a small gem logo but that is allowed where we are (Canada). You could probably pick the gems off if you wanted to though. Some of my daughter’s pairs she wears a lot have lost their logos on their own.
