Help I used to be able to do my right and left splits
left gym for years and have recently joined again.am trying to
get my split by practicing everyday but seem to be making no
progress. Any good quick splits stretches techniques ??
 
Sit in over-splits (each one) for 3 minutes a day. Put your heal on a panel mat and slide down an just use a stopwatch..then you can even make it over 180 degrees eventually :)
 
I am naturally unflexible, but I got my splits down and overcame that barrier just by gritting my teeth and buckling down. I rarely worked on my splits outside of gym, but when I was in gym I would sit in my splits while waiting for an event to start or and things like that. You really have to use your muscles to push yourself down.
