I have a girl who drags her feet behind her when she reaches to catch the high bar after a squat on. She has her kip, so I don't think it's a stomach muscle thing. Any ideas on how to correct this?

yes. place a spotting block between the low bar and the high bar that is the same height as the low bar. tell her to jump on to the block and then grab the high bar. it will show her where her feet/legs are located when she jumps.

fyi...they do this (what you have described above) instinctively because it slows down their swing initially. of course it is wrong because they then pick up a 'whip' tap that can peel them off the bar.

Thanks! I will work this with her tomorrow.
