I'm so proud of my little DD! This was her very first state meet and she had a personal best for every event. The competition was tough, and she had three 5th place finishes, one 8th place, and 4th All Around in her age group of 15. Her AA score was 36.75, also a personal best. There were MANY AA scores in the 37's and 38's in our session (6 groups of 10-15), which indicates to me that either some of these girls are ready to move up, or the scoring was generous, or some combination of the two. I think there were over 300 girls entered in Xcel Bronze with her, and I'd say she finished somewhere in the top half overall. Not too shabby for a first year!
