I'd like to get some opinions on gymnastics summer camps/clinics. I was looking at what is available, particularly at the high performance camps being offered at universities. I'm curious if you have seen these clinics prove helpful over just continued training at their regular gym. I would love to find an apparatus focused clinic, if you know of any please share!

The university camps serve a couple purposes, none include skill development. The primary reason colleges host these clinics is that they are a money making venture that helps round out their budgets. Secondary to that is to generate goodwill and allow potential recruits an opportunity to be on campus, see the facilities and interact with some of the coaches. A lot of these camps even use guest coaches from DP gyms or perhaps current student athletes. That's not to say one can't get some nuggets of advice participating, but you should set your expectations accordingly.

In my opinion, unless she is nearing recruitable age or you want to have a fun long weekend at a favorite university, spend your time/money at the home gym focusing on upgrading and improving skills.

This was my line of thinking as well, thanks for the input!
