Hi all! I found this old video online of a girl I used to know doing this release move. I was wondering if anyone knew what it’s called and what value it’s worth in the current COP!

It is an 'easier' bar change that is similar to a Pak. It is a 'C' in the current FIG code. Amy Chow used this nicely in her bar routines

Yes, I recognise it immediately. I've read most (if not all) of the code of points and this one stood out to me as interesting (may want to try it one day if I ever get that far).
I'ts not named after anybody so it doesn't have a name per se. You could call it straddle to low bar.
Its 4.302 in the code of points.
You can see it here: https://balancebeamsituation.com/straddle-to-low-bar/
Or look it up in the code of points here: https://www.gymnastics.sport/publicdir/rules/files/en_2022-2024 WAG COP.pdf
(I'd use ctrl-f to search for 4.302 in the code of points if you want to find it there)

Also, fun fact: there is another skill that's similar, the straddle pak. It's distinct in that you initiate it from a swing rather than a straddle circle, as it's a type of pak salto. (https://balancebeamsituation.com/straddle-pak/)
