Does anyone have knowledge of this skill, or a video of it, or know where I could find one? I have been searching for a video to reference but no luck. I'm assuming it's an older skill.
We have been trying to figure out the correct timing and grip from just the diagram, but it would be extremely helpful to have a video!

It’s a common transition for getting from the low bar to the high bar when you want the routine to face backwards, so it’s not specifically mentioned as a feature in videos. Adding the 1/2 is tricky because it eats away momentum unless it’s a blind change to handstand. In this video of collegiate bars, they all perform shoots both ways. The Third gymnast performs the trick you’re asking about; at about 4:45 performs the toe shoot half from low to high. Enjoy!

The skill at the 4:45 mark is a Van Leeuwen.

If you look again the diagram shows the athlete facing the HB at the start. The Van Leeuwen and other Maloney/shaposhnikova style skills face away from the HB.

You are unlikely the see the original skill in top routines because it's low value, will get not CV and it's difficult to connect from.
