Gymnast in question in a pre-elite training group. 9 year oldTest Scores:Leg lifts 20Cast Handstands 10 (made 4 perfect, fell over on 1)Splits: right 12 left 14= 13Rope= 10.47 secondsSprint= 3.41 secondsJump= 14"trouble starts now...Handstand hold= 14.75 seconds, usually can do atleast 45 but nerves got in the wayPress handstands= 1/2 (horrible for her)Bridge = 5Does anyone think by a long shot she could still qualify? Has all the skills perfected. The way i'm adding it up is 20 pts leg lifts, .5 pts press, 8 pts casts, 13 pts splits, 5 pts bridge, 2 pts handstand, 7 pts rope, 6 pts jump, 7 points sprint = 68.5 and cutoff 68 last year.

Only gets 10 pts for doing 20 leg lifts. Each individual category is worth 10 pts max, except splits are 15, shoulders are 5.

In terms of cutoff scores, it all depends how everyone else in her age group did...

Generally you need to max out on the cast handstand, presses and holds and leglifts to be sure. Fingers are crossed for her and good luck.
