Parents Two Event Meet

This was my DD's first level 7 judged meet, which was only two events per gymnast. The beam video is hilarious. I'm so glad she was laughing about it.

Her vault looked really good to me, but her coach wasn't so impressed. Still, she got 8th place, in a meet with all ages mixed together. Her scores are 8.3 on beam, and 8.6 on vault. I think it is a pretty good start, as the scores will go up from here.

WTG to your DD. She fought like crazy to stay on that beam. So glad she was able to laugh at herself on that one.

She was laughing after the routine. Good for her for fighting through the bhs and not taking it all too seriously.
