Hi! It was my DD that fell on her hitchkick at a meet! Luckily her ankle did not swell up or anything! I am glad to hear that your DD did not break her ankle! I would still go to the meet even if your DD does not compete since she will get to hang out with her friends and cheer them on!! Last year my DD did break her foot but she went to support her team and did finally compete two meets but only on bars!
Isn't it funny how these girls can hurt themselves on the little things but still do all the scary stuff without incident?!!

Yes...she had been working SO hard on fixing her ROBHSBHS and was actually making it look MUCH better...then falls on the hitchkick. It was like I was watching your DD's video over again!!!:( She is doing much better, she made it through practice last night with no pain and she is there now till 7...hope she comes home with a good report again.

Hope your DD continues to have a good season with no more injuries!!!!

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
