Does anyone know what the deduction is if you do not clear your feet on your Yurchenko landing for level 7?

What’s the difference between L6 and L7 vaults then? I thought L6 was timer to your feet (fall to back) and L7 was timer directly to your back.

I may be wrong, but I think L6 vaults are a round off/half on while L7 vaults are yurchenko timers.

Not much of a difference. L7 is allowed to scoop (timer to your back), but doesn't need it. L6 has to go to your feet first.

Just speculation but I think showing more rotation/more scoop etc. is more important in L7 (as per my teammates from last season, most winning vaults scooped) even though they don't say that directly.

L6 and L7 both have the choice of 3 vaults:
•Yurchenko Timer
•Tsukahara Timer
•Front Handspring (front) Timer

I've asked judges about scoring... most of them mention "flipability". As in- the vault should look like the gymnast would be capable of flipping it if you took the mat stack away.
