Working on a handstand where they climb up the wall with their feet and their stomachs are toward the wall would be best.

Working this for periods of 10, then 20, then 30, and so on till upwards of 60 seconds will help their ability to move through the handstand portion of the walkover.

Doing kickovers off the couch or floor will help if that is poor. How is their shoulder flexibility? Can they get their shoulders over their hands in a bridge?

Doing leg lifts while laying on the floor will help a bit if they are weak in the middle to pulling their leg over and give more support in their core during their handstands.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
