What is conditioning?

You don't do conditioning over there in Australia?? Or maybe you do but you just call it something different.

But its basically what Canadian gymnast said...exercises to build strength and flexibility. Usually in large amounts that will make athletes in other sports cringe. Like my basketball friends were complaining about having to do 75 push-ups today, and I'm like that's just a warmup for us!!

oh thanks for that. and yes we do do push ups and climbing rope, but i dont think my coaches have ever called it conditioning before.
Lol your basket ball friend sounds like my signature only it's basketball instead of football.
Thankyou so much again! Now i can understand what people are talking about.
