Women What is the youngest age for a level 9 gymnast?

What is the youngest age a gymnast can be to compete as a Level 9 gymnast.

In the US, it is 9 yrs old...

then they have lowered it since my girls were 9s.....you had to be the age of the level ...7yo for 7, 8 for 8, 9 for 9 and 10 for 10....my oldest was just 10 at the start of her first level 10 season so I remember her coaches being relieved...

You used to have to be 10 by nationals for level 10 or something. I can think of several 10 year old level 10s but none who were 9 for the season. Though Salcianu might have one now, not sure how old she turns this season. Also haven't seen any 8 year old level 9s.

@bookworm, I don't have personal experience with these levels. We're still stuck at compulsories for at least next two years (if we don't quit earlier). I was just web searching
10 years old L10 is pretty impressive. How is she doing now?
