Mary Lou Retton, It was interesting because I watched some of her videos on youtube and the commentators were so excited about all her skills and so nice, and a lot of the skills she was doing are very common today, they must have been more rare at that time. They were really excited about her double full on floor! And now the commentators are so mean if you will, "Oh she didn't hit that handstand that will be at least 5/10th's off."

Vera Caslavska from Czechoslovakia won the Women's AA (Vault-1st, Beam-2nd, Floor-2nd) for World Championships held in Dortmund West Germany and Natalia Kuchinskaya from Russia came in 2nd AA (Vault-3rd, Bars-1st, Beam-1st, Floor-1st).
