Hi! So I recently switched to Dryband wristbands because I get wrist rips so easily. They did not seem to help at all, for I still get wrist rips like once a week. I think it is because my wristbands are sliding. I have tried prewrap and tape under my wristbands and that helped alot, but my gym doesn’t allow you to take over 1 minute to put on your grips and it just takes too much time to put prewrap and tape. Is there anything to help wristbands not slide or any recommendations? Thank you 🙏

Can you prewrap and tape your wrists before practice so that all you have to do when it comes to bars is put on the wristbands and grips?
Otherwise I would make sure you are taking good care of the skin on your wrists and filing down any calluses. Additionally, could you tape the wristbands in place instead of taping your wrists?
Could you ask for an exemption to the 1 minute rule by explaining your wrist rips?

Try NexCare waterproof tape. You won’t need prewrap and you can even put it on before practice if time is super tight. It’s stretchy and does not interfere with range of motion. My son used it for wrist rips. Also my son stopped having rips when he switched to 6” underarmor wrist bands

My daughter struggled with this and it took a while to find wristbands with a predictable thickness that fit her well. Sometimes we’d find Amazon ones that worked but then the next batch would be different.

Right now she is wearing the Ten-O ones with the logo, but turned inside out because she says they stay put better that way. They fit really consistently. It also helped to start bringing them home more frequently than 1x/season and washing them a lot more to reduce the friction from chalk crust, yuck.
