Hi Judges/Coaches,

I am having some trouble confirming whether an Xcel Diamond bar routine meets all requirements, and I am hoping for some guidance. Would the following routine fulfill the requirements?

  • Jump to front support
  • Cast handstand (B)
  • Free hip (B)
  • Kip (A)
  • Sole circle (A)
  • High bar kip (A)
  • Cast (A)
  • Layout dismount (A)

I would really appreciate any help or feedback. Thank you! 🙂

Here are the requirements:
1. Skill finishing in a clear support at a min. of 45° from vertical (not mount or dismount) ... √ Cast handstand
2. Minimum “B” 360° Circling Skill (not in the mount or dismount) ... √ Free hip
3. Additional Min. “B” skill - A Turn or 2nd 360° Circling Skill(same as or different from SR#2),
dismount, or Release, not in the dismount ... X You need a pirouette or a high bar free hip (or giant) or a release
4. Salto or Hecht Dismount – High Bar, or any dismount (minimum “B”) from the high bar. √ Layout flyaway

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
