Women XCEL test out question

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help with an Xcel question:

1. My daughter competed JO Level 1 in the fall of 2019. She had a score of 38.00 at the state meet.
2. She did not compete in 2020 due to Covid.
3. She is now training to compete Xcel Gold and is scheduled for her first meet next month.

She doesn't have to test out of Silver, does she?

I'm pretty sure that she does have to test out of silver but I would double check with her coach. It looks like she needs a 31.00 AA score in silver to move up. I believe she does have to test out.

Yes, according to the rules, she does have to test out. It wasn't always that way, but it changed about 4 seasons ago.
