Our gym wants notes but open communication is valid as well. Our gym is small and our coach is a PT at well at a hospital who know most vendors.
As far as X-ray - radiologist read those as well as the specialist so u less a coach is that then I wouldn’t feel the need to give them
Are they...
My DD is deciding to stay in the xcel program for many reasons but believes she will get further in the program than JO.
She is 15 and will be training platinum next year. Age is another reason even though she could petition but she likes her coach, her teammates and where she is.
If she...
Our xcel begins Dec and goes to May depending on State and Regional qualifications. If not qualified it would end in April.
We have traveled in the past but a lot of our team doesn’t go out of state.
This year there is one out of state meet outside the normal Regional meet. Only a handful of...
Kids like to put things on their water bottles now. So stickers would be fun. Giving something that will be used multiple times vs a one time has always been bigger for us. Example - we sells more cups with our meet info on it than a flower to give at the end.
As far from a parent...
Our gym is smaller and they only held a mock meet for levels and excluded xcel.
Which could have been done given our size of xcel. I mean less than a handful of Golds, 2 Platinum, less than a dozen silvers. But idk
I think I’m annoyed that I it could have been done and not sure why it wasn’t...
Paralympics? Side bar - my DD does gymnastics but my son is a wheelchair sports player (many sports). We love be both worlds. My sons team has someone who is going to Paris as well.
Does anyone have experience petitioning to go from Xcel to JO? Age wise, she is allowed to go to Level 6 or 7 from what I’m reading. Her coach mentioned it before but we left a pin on it. I wouldn't purse it until she made the RBHS connection consistently anyway.
Ok. Slightly overthinking probably but my daughter is in middle school and finishing out Silver.
She is moving to Gold after states is done.
I signed her up for a college gym camp. YAY! But now I am overthinking that she might be the only one there her age in that level. A camp isn't a...
Apologies. Athletically. But it appears that this would be rare by any means and not a usual circumstance.
Most enter college gymnastics when they enter college.
Not enter college - then await a year then request to join for whatever reason.
Again it seems like this rare and unlikely but...
It does. Sorry. I thought after I posted that I was a little vague and unclear.
In short, if you want to be considered to compete at college level you need to do so your freshman year of college.
You can’t delay until sophomore or junior to be considered. Correct?
Silly question maybe but when you apply , can you only apply to enter as a freshman or can you apply later in college?
I am thinking only as a freshman but I figured I would ask.
