The 2010 Women’s Gymnastics Championships Handbook states...
Does anyone do this? Or are all the gymasts on NCAA teams recruited and offered scholarships? Do they have "try outs" or "walk-ons" and how do you find out about those? How often does a college take a "walk-on" on their team?
Just wondering how this all works since I am totally ignorant. :o

We are in the process of rewriting our bylaws for our parents association at our gym. We have a few high school girls on our team, and want to make sure we don't make them ineleigible for college gymnastics with our fundraising. Can someone clarify (or point us in the right direction)...
The 2008 NCAA Gymnastics Championships will be broadcast by CBS on a tape delay basis. The broadcast is set to air Saturday, May 10 from 2-4:00 p.m. (central). The CBS talent will be Tim Brando and Amanda Borden.

DD and I are going to Gainesville next weekend to watch the NCAA Regionals held at Univeristy of FL. I am an "auxillary judge" and get to time beam falls. DD will be with her friend (also a level 10) who lives in Gainesville, watching the meet. Should jazz her up for Regionals.
