Hi all, I started my 4 year old (will be 5 next month) in gymnastics classes in January, shortly after her 4th birthday. I signed her up just for fun (no competitive aspirations) The facility does have pre-team and team levels up to level 10. I know absolutly nothing about gymnastics, but things...

How often does your 5 year old train?

And what is the majority of their time spent doing at the gym? I read (on here I think) that between the ages of 5-7 most of the training is conditioning and not apparatus work, is that true?

Help Prep Op question for 7 year old

Any advice for a parent about daughter joining prep op team (this is not level 6, it's the newer alternate team I think mostly for older girls who don't make JO or want less intensity). 7 year old tried out for prep at very competitive and busy gym, offered prep op. In gymnastics 2 years (rec...

I know there are a ton of posts about Woodward vs. IGC but I was wondering if anyone thinks one is better than the other for a seven year old first time camper? One of DD's coaches said IGC is more play and would recommend Woodward for a more intense program. She thought IGC would be fine...
