After watching the entire meet (or more of slept through the first 3, and watched the last two (I looked at live blogs to fill me in on what happened), Im most shocked about France and how they placed 11th/12th in team and didn't qualify to any finals at a home olyimpics in any catagoty!

The whole time I was telling my daughter that I didn't think Jade felt good. She kept pulling at the neck of her leo and just looked sick. Poor girl!! I'm so glad that she qualified in vault because I feel it made the fact that she worked through being sick worth it.

It's too bad, but I'm seeing an awesome redemption story for 2028. I'll be rooting for Hezly!!

The whole time I was telling my daughter that I didn't think Jade felt good. She kept pulling at the neck of her leo and just looked sick. Poor girl!! I'm so glad that she qualified in vault because I feel it made the fact that she worked through being sick worth it.

I thought Jade looked pale, in addition to pulling at the neck of her leo. I was worried about her having to do all that flipping while sick, especially if it was affecting her throat. I'm glad she qualified in vault.
I hope she feels better tomorrow.

The pulling at the neck of the leotard reminded me of why YG didn't like that type of neckline on her leotards (it was the final "nail in the coffin" of her gymnastics career when the other seniors decided on the senior leo as a group ... without her... and they chose a high neck clip style). YG's abnormally large tonsils (when 100% healthy) won't let her wear anything high neck.
