D gets more afraid now than before...doesnt mean anything. He'll come out after working a new skill and say "that was sooooo scary! I can't wait to do it again tomorrow, it was fun!" Sigh. (and he is working scary things, doubles, releases, twisty/flippy things)

i had the same problem. what i do is just tell myself i can do it, and if i can't then why would my coach be telling me to do it?? coaches know what they are talking about. if they say you can do it, i am sure you can.
