What are some good exercises for building ab strength? I do sit ups and other stuff, but I have a hard time getting a good leg lift. Help?
 
If you are trying to improve your leg lifts that's not really ab strength, it's hip flexors. V- sit ups are easier than leg lifts and work the same muscles.
 
L-sit or L-hang. I tend to alternate them with the kids. Get to 30 seconds and you are getting somewhere.

Of course a basic extended hollow hold. Ideally 90 seconds at least.
