@Jenny do you know what the qualifying criteria is for those that have recently passed compulsory 2 in May 2022 for British Championships ?
It hasn't been released yet but it is expected to be a combined score with vol 2 for next years Espoirs and a combined score with vol and then a qualifying comp for next years Juniors and above.

Things keep getting changed though so could be anything I suppose!

I’ve just noticed on social media accounts that a few gymnasts from the may 2022 compulsory 2 have mentioned that they have qualified for the 2023 British Championships. So the qualifiying criteria must have been recently announced. Can any clarify what the qualifying criteria is ?

Gymnasts who are espoir and junior next year and who have passed compulsory 2 will go straight to the British next year. They will not have to achieve a qualifying score at vol 2 this autumn or take part in a qualifying competition next Feb. Seniors next year apart from GB squad members will have to qualify through a qualifying competition in February (this is on top of passing compulsory 2 or getting a place through challenge). There are 48 total places (including GB squad members) at the British. However there were only a few over 50 competed AA senior this year so only a few won't get through. Unless they specify a minimum score later on of course.

Thanks @Jenny, so once gymnast qualifies for the British Championships do they then have to re-qualify again for future British Championships?

only when a senior for 2023. In the future it may change depending how it goes in 2023.
