DDs gym is on the young side. In the younger groups last season we were often competing amongst ourselves
with 1 or 2 girls from other gyms. Hoping that improves this upcoming season.

Bronze- 5-12
Silver- 6-13
Gold- 7-13
Platinum 10-14

Our gym only allows girls 12 and up to do Xcel...and we only do silver and gold. After gold, we reroute them back to JO if they have the skills, though the majority stay in Gold until they are seniors.

Only have had silver, gold, and platinum.
Silver: 8-13 this year, has been as high as 16 y/o.
Gold: 12-18.
Platinum: 14-18 .

...and you probably shouldn't put that you are 16 on your profile page and then give up the ghost here, lmao....:rolleyes::p

If it's her profile, you are not allowed to post on it. We have age limits for a reason.

What is the "normal" age for someone to compete silver/gold/platinum at you gym? We started a bronze team, and most of the girls are 6/7/8. We don't have higher levels (yet), and since I'm being moved to xcel, I was wondering what to expect. :)
our gym usually has a lot of ages, the oldest silver so far was 15 and the oldest girl on diamond is around 16-18

Old gym (where DD competed Xcel)
Bronze = all were 7 years old
Silver = all were 8 years old
Gold = aged 9-11
Platinum = age 10-13
One Diamond = age 13

I was a 14 year old platinum (turned 15 after states) , and this year I'm a 15 year old diamond.
