So awful if it's true, understand they need to make a statement but punishing clean athletes for something completely beyond their control is grossly wrong.

Just read on another board that the Associated Press tweeted that the IOC will NOT ban all Russian athletes!! Very happy for those who can compete! And I guess we should never listen to the Daily Mail!

Breaking news from BBC:

Russia will not receive a blanket ban from Rio 2016 following the country's doping scandal, an Olympic source has told the BBC.

Instead, the International Olympic Committee will leave it up to individual sport's governing bodies to decide if Russian competitors are clean and should be allowed to take part.

The decision follows a damning report in which Canadian law professor Richard McLaren claimed Russia operated a state-sponsored doping programme from 2011 to 2015.
