My daughter just learned a back tuck on the beam and is doing a round off full dismount . From doing so many round offs and back tucks on the beam , she has significant bruising along with a " bump " on the inside of her ankle from banging them together . Anyone else experience this ? She ices them but it keeps happening .

A girl at our gym fractured the inside of her foot by jamming her heel of her other foot into it while landing back tucks on the beam........ Sounded quite similar at the outset.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
