Did you register/pay for your entry? If so the leotards would be given to your club most likely. You would want to make sure a new gym was accepting new team members right now as is still regionals/ Easterns/nationals season.

Yes we've already committed to a new gym - but would have to go to regionals with the old gym. In our region, Leos are extra and not part of the entry fee.

Hi - does anyone know if you actually have to attend regionals in order to get the leotard? We're in the midst of a gym change and debating whether attending regionals is worth the extra time at current gym. My 11-year old really wants the leotard though. Region 8, if that matters.
In Region 8, you had to declare the evening of the last session at state meet whether or not your gymnast was going to attend regionals. Your gym would have taken care of that. If you declared that your gymnast will attend, unless it's an injury preventing her from attending, she is expected to attend. It's not fair to the girls who could have gone in her place if she was not planning to attend. They only take so many from each state meet in Region 8, and if girls know they will not be attending they are supposed to let it be known so that the director can invite the ones who finished lower than the original cutoff score to attend regionals.
