Changing Date/Time Display

I hope this hasn't already been discussed elsewhere... I did a little looking around but didn't see anything. My question is this: Is it possible to alter the way the forum displays date and time stamps? I'm used to/better able to read 24 hour time and dates formatted as dd-mm-year. I know most forums allow the user to customise those things, but it seems as though this one doesn't. Just wanted to check if that was truly the case. Thank you!

As a US based forum the system is set accordingly. As far as I know there is no way to change the date and time.

But it is always good to be challenged by new things!

Well... it's not really new to me since I'm American by birth and citizenship... I just wondered if that was something this forum allowed you to do, since most do. Apparently not.
