A lot of our golds did double back hip circle, especially the ones who kip. The ones without kips pretty much did back hip circle on low and then long hang pullover on high. As always, I would talk to your coach if you have routine composition questions. It honestly always surprises me when I see questions like these on the forums as I am always very clear and upfront with my athletes about the requirements and how I envision each person meeting them. When a second circle became required, we played around with all sorts of combinations we liked to see what would suit each person individually and what we thought made sense and would score well.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
