NCAA Clemson coach let go and others not renewed..thoughts

Just was Clemson has let go of Amy their head coach and rumor has it their assistant coach in on the chopping clock too! Any thoughts?
Also, Illinois didnt renew Natalie their head coach!

Agreed.... and I don't think its just her that will be let go from rumblings i have heard.

There were a few gymnasts (from two different schools) that were vocal about Amy Smith's coaching practices when she was hired.

It seemed to be known in the community that there were potentially issues at the time of hiring before athletes spoke out based on athlete turnover numbers.

I believe Clemson did an investigation of their hiring after claiming they had no knowledge of issues when it was pointed out to them.

Several gymnasts did follow Amy to Clemson. The issues seem to be how she treats athletes when they are struggling/not winning.

I believe the incoming head coach chooses their assistants, which is why many NCAA programs end up with an all new coaching staff when the HC leaves.

I do know Eric is well liked by a lot of the club coaches and recruits. It might like a Georgia situation, not that I think they make him head coach, but keep him to hold together the recruits and current roster. Of course we don't know the basis of letting her go and if he is included in said "separation"

As far as replacements, I dont see them poaching any head coach of a team in the top 20. I can see them going after some assistants at major programs that are ready for a HC job.
