Hi, our gym has CCTV and Safe Sport indicates SHOULD BE with audio (pg19) to watch trainings remotely. This is needed to prevent verbal abuse I'm assuming. Can anyone help with more ACCURATE information. I'm in California and gym is stating I'm misinterpreting the audio requirement? NEED INFO ASAP! Thank you Coaches

You can call USAG member club outreach. They are super helpful with clarifying. I did last year and was told no audio was fine. Also in CA.

There is no requirement to provide remote viewing as long as there is a viewing area at the gym.

I read it as an option to include sound.

Ye, when I spoke to USAG they stated they planned on updating to remove the audio portion. Especially since in a normally loud gym, you can’t make out much sound. They said as long as there are a good number of parents in the gym at all times, team parents can be limited to a viewing schedule for their group.
