Can you compete prep op and compulsory in the same season? My DD needs to score out of 6 to move to optionals so we were thinking she could do one meet during the year at level 6 while doing prep op.

In my state, yes, you can. In other states it varies, so there might be restrictions on what level of prep op you can compete depending on what USAG levels you've completed. Most states seem to allow it from what I've seen, but the program varies across states and regions. If you don't want to post your state here you can try looking for your state USAG site and see if they have the prep op information up.
