I like to give my girls cue words to think about while doing skills, and I was wondering what words other coaches use. My cue words work sometimes and with some kids...

For baby giants (long hang pull overs) I use kick and shift.

For clear hips I use drop, shift, open.

What do you use for these skills and kips, squat ons and flyaways? Thanks!!

this is all you hear during our workouts,,
legs,,, shape,,, tight,, shape,, push down,,, shape,,, elbows,,, pop,, shape,, round,, nice!!!!

new kips,, elbows,, over over over, turtle , elbows, turtle!
flyaway, early tap timer, pop timer, toes up timer, shape!!!! w do not call them fly aways when teaching them, timer

vault is easy,,,,, SPEED!

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
