Dani's "Gymnasts in Wonderland" Meet :)

Dani had a great meet!!! Here's the rundown in a nutshell:

Floor - not bad, pretty solid
Score: 7.70

Vault - She went over!!!! Yay!!! She balked on the 2nd vault but the first was good enough to place 7th.
Score: 8.15

Bars - Awesome!!! Looking better and better. She tied for 1st but took 2nd because the other girl had a higher AA score.
Score: 9.20

Beam - Awesome again! She took 3rd place!
Score: 9.20

AA - good solid score and 6th place.
Score: 34.25

Yes--in the Mason Dixon League that Dani competes in, spotting is allowed with a deduction, of course. I think it is great because she would never be allowed to compete in USAG because of her fear issues with the ROBHS--she just won't attempt it yet on her own. So this league is GREAT for kids with some fear issues or just need that spot for reassurance . This league helps boost so many kids self-esteem!!! LOVE IT!

Great job Dani!! I don't really think she needs that spot on floor! She really is doing it by herself - does she see that in the video? Hopefully she will have the confidence to do it on her own soon. Good luck at championships!

Her bars are so great! She always looks like she is having so much fun on floor. One day she will do that ROBHS on her own and her score is going to go way up! Love all the flexibility stuff that she does too!
