Parents DIY Floor Bar

Anyone here ever make one? And, if so, are you willing to share specs with me?

Seems a reasonably safe at-home apparatus for conditioning/play don't y'all agree?

My husband made one from wood. Very easy to make. He used a wood dowel from Lowes and put blocks on the end of it.

We made D paralletes out of PVC. pretty easy.

skschlag- we've done paralelettes with PVC, but wanting a single, longer floor bar this time.
gymnastca25- was the wood dowel essentially a closet bar?

What do you use a floor bar for?

Pirouettes, handstands & conditioning exercises. She loves creating all sorts of drills and stuff on her own. Not a real critical item but for the low cost it will be fun addition to her current at home gym stuff.

Yes, I think it is a closet bar. I checked the actual diameter of the real bar and then bought the same size. DH just drilled holes in the end of 2 wood blocks to hold bar.
