Men Element Groups

One of our girls' coaches is helping out our boys' coaches. She was looking at the Code of Points today, but could not find how to construct routines. Like, how many As Bs Cs, etc need to be in a level 8, 9 or 10 routine. And what are they NOT allowed to do. Can anyone help?

Has she looked at the USAG Men's Age Group Competition Program Manual - and the updates?

So, she looked at one book that was in the gym and had the element groups, and what the skills were. We looked at a Men's Age Group Competition Manual that I have and it has what they are not allowed to do, but not much on what tehy are allowed to do. They might find it in the gym..or order it. BUt I thought I would see if anyone had the info here so they could know faster.

You need 6 skills in each routine that are in the cop.

Level 8s need a dismounts
Level 9s need b dismounts
And level 10s need c dismounts

There isn't many things your not allowed to do.

Level 8s aren't allowed to do yurchenko vaults.

There is 5 element groups for each event except floor and vault.

Floor there are four because there is no dismount



There are some banned skills for USAG but most of them are e's f's or g's so that doesn't really matter.
