watching oklahoma vs lsu rn. Faith torres goes 9.975. She didn’t get enough distance, arched a bit down, and did the “college stick”
9.975 means one judge gave her a 10. This vault was not even close to a 10, probably 9.85-9.9 max.
curious on everyone else’s opinions. i’m sick of oklahoma and florida being over scored…

It's not just oklahoma and florida, it's pretty much all SEC teams...

I would say something about how I think the SCORE board judging system they are piloting this year is helping create more accurate 10s this season, but I don't really know about it that much considering just THIS EVENING, we have seen 5 perfect 10s today, when before today we have only seen of total of 5 this year... (to be fair, I have not watched any of the 10 routines today, so they could actually be deserved 10s)

The vault judges were crazy on that meet, for both teams. Bryant sticks her vault and gets the same score as Chio who had a hop?! Ballard goes 9.95 on beam?! No plenty of over scoring to go around.

Most college routines are scored in the 9’s, even with falls. I know that these gymnasts are pretty great, but some of these scores should be way lower.

College scoring is for the spectators. I was watching a D1 SEC school in person, and the gymnast on beam is the star of the team. She got a 9.85, which was the correct score from what I saw, but everyone was booing and yelling "ten, ten, ten." The crowd wants to see 10s.
