So one of my requirements this year is a flight skill for beam. My round-offs are okay, but since I can't use it as part of my dismount, I tend to fall backward slightly. And for back handsprings, I would prefer not to do them. I can technically do them, but they are scary and so I've been looking for other skills. Also, dive cartwheels are not considered a flight skill by my gym.

Anyway, any suggestions? Thanks :D

I am not sure what you are looking for. Flight but not aerial? What Level is this for?
Acro flight Options would be back handspring, round off, front handspring, side aerial, Korbut . That's all I ever see in levels 6/7
This is for platinum (xcel). You can't have anything higher than a B and I think any ariel skill is at least a C

Actually for platinum you can connect two non flight acro skills instead of competing a flight skill. So you could compete a variety of options like CW/CW, HS/BWO, BWO/BWO, etc.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
