Floor music question

so i was listening to floor music on youtube trying to get an idea of what i wanted and i came across a piece that i really liked. on the video information it said that if you liked it you could just email the girl and she would email you back the music.my question is if i did this would the music be leagal to use for competition???

I am sure it would be. There is a ton of floor music out there on the internet, you just have to know where to look and who to ask.


I know in the UK there are issues with certain types of music, Disney for instance, but in North America there do not seem to be those issues.

Most of the music we use is found free on the internet or is cut from film music.
