Is the plan just to take a deduction for now and hope to inspire a rule change? I love what some of these guys are doing to increase the popularity of their sport but I'm not sure I love this move.

Seems like that it is!! Especially with that reference to Jordan's shoes and the fines... Agreed, though. Maybe with time I'll feel differently, but not really feeling this change at this point. Haven't actually met any male gymnasts/coaches who do at this moment, either.

I didn't hear that, but that's good to know! I thought he wore it during a team event this weekend, though?

No. This is individual only. I think he means if he is competing for Michigan or USA. This meet only has AA and individual events

I love Fred and I appreciate his enthusiasm but I do not like the uniform he presented. i think he should focus his entrepreneurial efforts on warm-ups and non-competition gymnastics attire.

Totally like that he is pushing the envelope… just didn’t like the style… maybe he’ll try again and I’ll like the next version.

As a (wag) judge I'd like the shirt to be tighter. I'm ok with it being a shirt and not a full suit. Also I think the thighs over and not under give a much better line IMO.
