I was at my meet at All American meet and once we got on high bar something funny happened. First of all I forgot my grips so I did a high bar routine with out grips (first in like 2 years) and then I did a kip cast handstand and I forgot to shift my wrists so I got in the handstand and came crashing down on my chest :D It was pretty funny but painful. Found out I now have a sternoclavicular sprain. I got a pretty low score though. I fell on my dismount and missed a handstand, if I remember correctly I got around a 8.900. Moral of the story, always remember your grips :)

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
