Parents Great First Meet!!!

DD (age 6, level 3) had her first meet. She was so excited to hear her name called for 11th place All Around during the awards ceremony (she said she "never ever" thought her name would be called). Of course she didn't realize that was 11 out of 11 in her age category We are so proud of her, she was a late move up so she hasn't been working on the skills very long but she still manged to make all of them including the front hip circle which has been giving her fits!

Congrats! DD's has her session tomorrow (sunday). That's cool that she got to hear her name. The meet this week only goes to 10th place.

Don't worry about the placements.. in compulsories, they really don't mean much. Encourage that love of gymnastics. Great job, little one!! You rock!!!
