Grips are slipping around wrists

I use nike wristbands they're pretty tight and they don't usually slip, but i aslo use velcro grips:o

Random suggstion...maybe try a little hairspray under the wristbands. Don't know if it'll work, but it works on leotards!:D
 
Buckles are better!

Cut off the top of socks to use as wristbands. They slip less (if you find the right sock) when washed.



this is spot on. and, you must replace the wrist bands from time to time and especially if you have an open sore on your wrist.

dirty wristband=bacteria=septic to an open sore. this is precisely how the gymnast gets blood poisoning so careful consideration/observation is required.
 
Another suggestion (what I do to solve my tiny wrist problem) is to wear two wristbands on each wrist. It may be uncomfortable at first but once you get the grips on and in the "perfect" position the extra thickness will not allow the grips to slip around as much. Good luck! I know exactly the frustration that comes with annoying grips!
